Code of Conduct and Discipline Policy

Welcome to The Ancestral Alchemist. To maintain a sacred, safe, and professional space for healing, transformation, and deep energetic work, this Code of Conduct outlines the mutual standards of behavior expected from both the practitioner and our clients.

By booking a session in my dedicated studio or scheduling a mobile service, you agree to uphold these principles.

1. Core Principles of Conduct

  • Mutual Respect: All interactions must be rooted in kindness, respect, and dignity. Discriminatory language, harassment, or derogatory remarks regarding race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or ability will not be tolerated.

  • Consent and Boundaries: Holistic modalities like Sound Healing, Reiki, Chakra Balancing, and Crystal Healing require a vulnerability of mind and body. Physical and energetic boundaries are established during the intake process and must be respected at all times. A client may withdraw consent or request changes to a session at any moment.

  • Safety First: Both the practitioner and client have a right to a physically and emotionally safe environment. Weapons, illicit substances, or threatening behaviors are strictly prohibited across all session environments.

2. Client Expectations and Prohibited Behavior

To protect the integrity of the healing space, the following behaviors are strictly prohibited and constitute a breach of this code:

  • Inappropriate or Sexual Conduct: Reiki, chakra, and crystal therapies are entirely non-sexual and therapeutic. Any suggestive remarks, inappropriate physical contact, or sexual advances will result in the immediate and permanent termination of the session.

  • Intoxication: Clients must not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any mind-altering substances that compromise their ability to give safe, informed consent.

  • Aggression or Verbal Abuse: Loud, aggressive, threatening, or abusive language directed at the practitioner or venue staff is strictly prohibited.

  • Disregard for Health and Illness Policies: Attending a session while knowingly sick or contagious violates our hygiene standards and compromises the practitioner's health and livelihood.

3. Practitioner Commitments

As a practitioner insured by beYogi (Insurance Plus), I commit to:

  • Providing services with the highest level of professional integrity, hygiene, and ethical care.

  • Maintaining absolute confidentiality regarding your personal life, health history, and session experiences.

  • Never diagnosing medical conditions, prescribing substances, or interfering with conventional medical treatments.

  • Refusing service or terminating a session if my personal safety or professional boundaries are compromised.

4. Disciplinary and Enforcement Process

As a solo practitioner, I reserve the right to enforce this policy immediately to ensure safety. Breaches of this Code of Conduct will be handled via a tiered disciplinary approach based on severity:

  • Level 1: Verbal Warning & Correction
For minor boundary crossings or misunderstandings (e.g., cell phone disruptions or arriving while mildly unwell), a clear verbal warning will be issued to realign the session boundaries.

  • Level 2: Session Termination
For clear violations of conduct (e.g., intoxication, refusal to respect physical boundaries, or showing up visibly sick after previous warnings), the session will be terminated immediately. No refunds will be given, and our standard cancellation tier policies apply.

  • Level 3: Permanent Ban
For severe violations—including any form of sexual harassment, physical aggression, verbal abuse, or theft—the client will be permanently banned from booking future services at my studio or via mobile travel.

  • Legal and Insurance Escalation:
Any illegal activities, threats of violence, or property damage will be reported immediately to local authorities and escalated to my insurance provider, beYogi (Insurance Plus).
